This is our group. Primarily for the Irish citizens of Charleston, but all with an interest in Ireland are welcome. Learn more about what we do.

Charleston Hurling Club

Brendan Dagg, from Offaly, founded the hurling club. They practice twice a week, play tournaments around the SouthEast. They host the Holy City Cup every April. Camogie and Gaelic football players are welcome too.

Celtic Music in Charleston

Celtic Music

Catherine Kinder runs this group who meet up and play Irish music. The Celt Pub runs trad sessions on Tuesday. Best to call ahead and confirm before heading out.

Charleston Celtic Soccer

This is the men's soccer team. Made of mostly Irish players. There's also some pick up games played.

Golf

A lot of our group play golf. Nothing formal, but if you want to find some fellow Irish to play with golf with, contact us.

Ancient Order of Hibernians

The Ancient Order of Hibernians in America is a Catholic, Irish American Fraternal Organization

South Carolina Irish Historical Society

They meet quarterly at Tommy Condon's. You have to prove Irish heritage to join.

Hibernian Society

They meet at Hibernian Hall. It originally was an Irish society, but you don't have to be Irish to join now. I hear there is a long waiting list to join.
