Kerry, probably the most scenic county in Ireland. It’s a obligatory stop on the South West loop of the Ireland that most tourists seem to take. It’s is wild, it’s is beautiful, the accents are completely indecipherable, even to Irish ears.

The Irish Independent saved me the trouble of writing up some ideas, because they wrote a fantastic article on what to do in Kerry.

After all that walking, you’ll need to find a place to eat and place to stay

Much as I do love Kerry, if you go at the peak of the Summer, you’ll hear more American than Irish accents in Kerry. As I always suggest, get off the beaten track, go to small villages, you’ll get a huge welcome there and a much more unique Irish experience than following the tourist hordes.
